The official currency of Croatia is the Kuna (Kn or HRK) since 1994, since the yugoslavian dinar has been taken out of circulation. Small change is called lipa.

1 kuna=100 lipa.

One interesting thing: the coins portray various animals and plants. If the coin was pressed in an odd year, it will have the croatian, if in an even year, the latin name on the coin.

The lipa has coins in the follwing value: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50. The kuna has coins: 1, 2, 5
